Bike Werks isn’t the first company to take bike repair service on the road, but we are driven to be the best. In April of 2017, operating out of a Honda SUV, Carl set up shop at the Olney Farmers Market just North of Washington, DC. Under a newly bought canopy, with a bike in the stand and tools on the table, it was enough to catch the attention of passers-by. “You mean you’ll come to my house and fix my bike? That thing’s been out of commission for years.” Appointments were made and word began to spread that the new bike shop in town is on wheels.
Bike Werks is “Your Friendly Mobile Bike Shop”. By that, we mean even if you don’t know the lingo or have the latest and greatest bike, we are honored to repair your bike to have it performing at its best. We love to answer questions and discuss anything bicycle-related in a friendly sort of way. But that doesn’t mean we don’t serve the enthusiast as well.
