- What kind of bikes do you work on?
- At Bike Werks, we work on all types of bicycles - including kids' bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes, road bikes, single speed, cruisers and triathlon bikes
- My bike is old and worn out - what can you do?
- We'll provide a free estimate to bring new life to your old friend. You decide if the investment makes sense
- Will you install parts that I purchased elsewhere?
- Yes we will, assuming that the part is compatible with your bike.
- I bought my bike at a big box retailer. It's not high end, and I think it was set up poorly - can you help?
- No Problem - Bike Werks can have your big box store bike performing at its full potential
- Do you sell new bikes?
- Yes we do. We will assist you in purchasing a quality bike on-line which is the right size and meets your needs and budget. We will build and tune the bike for you, and return to readjust after break-in if necessary
- Is there a minimum charge?
- For repairs at any Farmers Market, there is no minimum charge. For home appointments, there's a $25 trip charge for all appointments within Montgomery County in addition to cost of service and parts. Outside of Montgomery County handled on a case by case basis. Click here for details.
- Will you do just a brake adjustment?
- Yes, we will. Though having a tune-up is your best value at Bike Werks, a-la-carte services are available
- Do you work on E-bikes?
- Yes, E-bikes have wheels which need truing, gears and brakes which need adjusting and moving parts which need lubricating. We do not, however, address the electrical components.
